You see, from our perspective, making a great cocktail really amounts to little more than liquid cooking: You begin with a delicious base spirit(s), season it with an endless array of liqueurs, bitters, and fresh ingredients, and through a quick change in temperature and dilution you arrive at a totally new (and, hopefully, palate rocking) flavor experience.
